Tv News Studio Design Proposal
This TV news Studio is designed by deforming decor elements to create the illusion of the eye with a fake perception of perspective.
With this tv news studio design, It is aimed to perceive the studio much deeper than it is by deliberately distorting the rules of perspective.
For the same purpose, curved forms with uncertain borders were preferred instead of angular geometric shapes that we can perceive their real dimensions.
Illuminated surfaces,reflective materials, LED screens and TV screens were used extensively to achieve depth.
This very narrow studio was supposed to be a different, multi-purpose and conceptual studio to be used for a new TV channel.
The space could not be expanded, but the perception of space could be changed as much as possible.
As a solution, lines and similar forms that create a sense of depth and perspective perception on the camera were adapted to the real decor elements.
In this tv show studio, Decorative elements in amorphous form were specially produced and painted with lacquer paint. Acrylic MDF was used in reflective materials.
Approximately 700 meters of rgb led strip were used for the light boxes

This studio has been designed in a continuous unity. However, different programs can be shot using different corners and backgrounds.
Color-changing light box backgrounds and LED walls with changing contents allow to create different atmospheres in the same decor.
Technically, the studio’s narrow and long length was the first to have difficulty in capturing the right camera angles.
During the assembly phase, the ledwall modules ordered from China could not be brought to our country for a long time due to the restrictions on shipments due to the pandemic. Therefore, the broadcast of the channel was delayed.
SETTE SETTE team provided conceptual design, technical drawings, fabrication, coordination and installation of the scenic set.
